music

“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent."        

As quoted above , music expresses all the feelings & emotions that we cannot explain with the help of words. It has no boundaries, and it follows no guidelines. Music can spark any emotion. It can hold memories as in process of listening to some song we get flashbacks. You can’t touch music, but music can touch you.

Earth has a music for those who listens to it . Music of nature brings peace in mind & heart . It gives us a sense of exaltation to be moving about in the woods exciting & adventurous , to be looking at the green providing relaxation to our eyes , to be standing near the running water which has its rhythm, its tone and its harmony  & enjoying the cool wind blowing near water bodies . The swinging of the branches in the forest, the rising and falling of the waves on the shores ,birds chirping  - all has its own music . 

In my case , music & its volume depends upon my mood . I listen to Hindi songs , English songs & also some Bengali ones too .

From my point of view, advanced technology have made our life easy but at the same time we have become more dependent on it . Earlier there were STD booths then came phones & finally now we have smartphones for calling purposes . 

Before we had 1 television for one colony but now we all have our own personal television . It has changed the generation of teenagers/young adults rapidly. It has made the generation more greedy, ignorant, and lazy. Imagine after 100 years things will b like what ??

 This has been examined that At some point, hopefully many, many years in the future, the Earth will suffer an event that human life cannot tolerate - that is to say, an extinction event.

If mankind is to survive as a species then in the long term our future existence lies in colonization of other planets or moons. I believe this is something that can be achieved, but it will require many years of progressive steps before we are capable of colonization.

New Cars will b there in which most of the things will be automatic . We will just have to give commands to our vehicle .Google Inc is building cars that don't have steering wheels, accelerator pedals or brake pedals, in an ambitious expansion of the Internet company's efforts to develop self-driving cars.

ATM , debit cards etc will be replaced by some other things that will be more safe & much easy to use .

Now this is interesting : A team of astronomers announced April 17, 2014, that they have discovered the first Earth-size planet orbiting a star in the so-called "habitable zone" This planet can be thought of as an "Earth-cousin rather than an Earth-twin.

Whenever you feel stressed have one , u will feel better.Several studies have suggested that eating chocolate can help reduce the risk of certain cardiovascular problems.They also reduce blood pressure.

Imagine if you own a chocolate factory like this in which you have chocolate river  surrounded by choco chips & candies . It is like a wonderful dream that seemed so real but too good to be true. For many people the taste of chocolate is reminiscent , for others it is reminder of fun times.

A chocolate combo comprising of Chocolate Shake / Choco Frappe , Choco Fudge Fantasy , A rich smooth Belgian chocolate shot is just awesome . These images are enough to make someone's mouth watery.Anything is good if it's made of chocolate. Gifts of chocolate molded into different shapes have become traditional on certain holidays: chocolate bunnies and eggs are popular on Easter.

Cakes are special. Every birthday, every celebration ends with something sweet, a cake, and people remember.Cookies are delicious. Ice - cream is refreshing & tasty.Age does not diminish the extreme disappointment of having a scoop of ice cream fall from the cone.

A CLOSER WALK WITH NATURE

Wow !! Look at these pictures . All around us, we see magnificence of nature every day, but hardly examine it. We hear it, but never listen to its sweet calls. We sense it everywhere, but how many times have we really experienced it? 

Trust me . The awareness of natural beauty is like a revelation. Birds tweeting, the cool wind gusting & giving us relaxed feeling, water lapping on the shore, the crickets cricketing all night long and the trees swaying. See the breathtaking sunrise and sunset-how in minutes a blanket of darkness overcomes light and how the light wins over darkness. See the flock of birds  flying towards their home, the clouds of different shapes & size having their own story to tell, the plants growing fast responding to rhythm of wind, the dancing & glittering flowers with beautiful butterflies on them, the stars twinkling in complete darkness with a bright moon which is taken in account by many poets for their romantic poetry. Feel the dew drops , the shades of the trees and the lovely gentle breeze.Nature is serene, beautiful, lovely, unique and a gift to every one of us. We all must experience it.Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.

Now coming to a very vital part i.e. Sustainable Development which is using nature's gift carefully & securing it for our future generation.Waste not the smallest thing created, for grains of sand make mountains.So we should care for our mother earth . Nature provide us with all the herbs & plants which are used in Ayurveda for treating many diseases . Community should know the value of their resources & use them carefully to protect our environment. Mother Earth gives us everything to meet our needs & expects nothing but her protection in a nice way . We should protect our trees as they play an important role in Global Warming & Water Cycle . Trees are also habitat  for many animals so conserve them .

SUMMER VACATION

o

"Summer Vacation" is comprised of two words : summer & vacation . Vacation is a word which makes all of us excited &  revive our mind, body, & soul. After every busy & hectic week we all look forward for weekend on which we can completely relax , Just like that we wait for long vacations when we get a month off from all our work . Aah !! summer vacations - that long anticipated stretch of lazy, lingering days, free of responsibility & rife with possibility. 

Vacations for school going kids is having fun for two months : no homework , no waking up early in the morning , no waiting at the bus stops . They join summer camps & learn variety of activities . In my primary school days , we were used to do handwriting practice along with the summer camp we joined . Barf ka gola gave a very pleasant feeling to our taste buds in summers along with kulfi . 

Vacations for college students is getting a break for a month . After completing our summer internships & all the reports .We spent our time with our family , hanging out with friends , having fun doing our hobby .For hostelers , vacations word itself brings a smile on their face . They all look forward to move to their respective home & have fun with their family , having home made food impart them a good feeling . Nothing is better than your own home with all the desires getting fulfilled & the level of comfort is always as required. Vacations for office people is getting off for few days . Few days free from office issues , work load . 

Summer is the annual permission slip to be lazy. To do nothing & have it count for something. To lie in the grass and count the stars. To sit on a branch and study the clouds. This summer temperature went upto 47 degree & we faced the scorching heat of sun. Days were too hot which doesn't allowed us to get out of our abodes to enjoy. At night , hot winds were there . Think of those birds , cows , street dogs that wander here and there in search of water. Plants are struggling for their survival . First summer rain gave a relaxation to all of  us. At least for some hours , we were enjoying the weather . The smell of wet mud , drops of water falling on plants washing their dust away , birds singing , trees getting green again . Everything appeared unsullied & refreshing.

Hostel life

HOSTEL " 2nd home "

It is said that "Change is spice of life" and yes so we should experience new things new situations in life.Living away from your family is something which nobody wants but we can not get all the things in the same time.So here i am in Delhi  pursuing engineering.

I was very excited when i came to know that i will b staying in hostel . My grandfather always was in favor of hostel.According to him all individuals should experience hostel life once in their whole life.He was pedantic . Finally there came that day when my parents were to leave from Delhi , that day i was a bit sad as there were mixture of emotions . I said Happy Journey to them & went back to my hostel.

Hostel life proved to be very nice sometimes but sometimes things were just not my cup of tea. Approximately  at 12 every night there was B'day celebration ( this was sometimes like our alarm . hahahaha !!! ) . Weekends were awesome as we went completely in a relationship with our bed that time . 2 days of hibernation with movies on and all other enjoyment.DJ night was fun . 

Sometimes i miss my family very much but being away from your home brings a sense of responsibility in you.Traits like being independent , being adaptable , trying to judge what is wrong & right for you , sharing are developed . My father always said one thing that once you will enter hostel you will get to know many things . And yes now i truly agree with this. There are different stages of life and we have to play many role in the course of our journey and i am sure this phase of my life will teach me many useful things which is important for living.

FUN , FRIENDS , FREEDOM ( 3 F's of hostel life) 

Freedom as there is no one with us to answer questions like what , where , how , when , with whom. All decisions can be made by oneself  so we can do whatever we want but we should be careful as time & tide wait for none.Every step must be taken after thinking .

Fun with Friends is obvious . We make many pals in this phase . Parties , movies , DJ and many more .

New Environment , New People , New Food , New Problems with New Solutions , New experiences , New Memories , New responsibilities - these all things makes a complete package of hostel life .

First memory is having a slate and chalk before my dad bought me a copy.

Taste of Chalk / batti  was known by every friend of mine that time. hahahha ........!! Secret between us , our parents were not knowing about this.

Fancy Dress Competition sounds very exciting from my childhood days.All used to dress differently on that day. I remember 1st time , i was dressed as a fairy .Mom made beautiful feathers &  i was dressed up elegantly in a white frock. A little makeup including lipstick ( for the very 1st time ) was also done. This Competition was fun always .

Early School Days were full of fun and enjoyment.We used to have Mass PT & Mass singing in those days .
We used to have our daily prayer , pledge (India is my country................ ) , news , thought for the day ,  and national anthem . We used to visit our school park in our leisure time & used to play various games .
Fisel-patti ( i will go 1st , u 2nd & baaki sab apna dekh lo ..... :p )  hahhahhah...............!! it was fun , see-saw ,  nadi - pahar  ,  merry go round in that speed was proportional to degree of chakker :p
Now i realized one thing that  Life is like a merry-go-round. It is full of ups and downs, sometimes you feel like you're just going in circles, but when the ride ends, you want to do it again !

In our break time , i used to feed crows of my school sometimes ( sssssssshhhhhhhhh..........!! mostly when mom gave me palak ka paratha like stuff ) . We used to pray before eating that time . Fairy tales had been our first experience of the magical universe . We end up our day with this :

After school , i used to have my lunch in company of cartoons.I used to watch variety which consists of Tom & Jerry , Scooby Dooby Dooooooooooooooo, Dekho aaya Noddy , Bob The Builder kerk dikhayge , Mr.Bean , power puff girls etc . 

Evening hours were spent riding bicycle , playing hide & seek ( dhaapii  :p ) , pitthu .  

Remember we used to make paper boats &  used to see them float from one corner to other.

Creating bubbles & having pleasure watching them flying in air , scolding anyone who attempts to break them.At night , after doing my home-work & learning tables which was daily updated by my sis  i used to watch " just for laugh gags " and after a dose of laughter  , i  used to see " AAHAT or Ssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !! Koi h ! with only one eye open. hahhahahahha ................!! Those days will b cherished always. Snake and ladders ( making hissing noise as our opposite partner went down from 100 to 5 ) , Ludo (generating our own rules : " mera 1 aaya , pehli chance meri " ) , Crossword ( cheater ! ek letter dekh liya mera :p) . These little things are hard to forget. Daily we used to listen to our radio before sleeping.

Hi5 !! Those who remember " Baraf Ka Gola " . This was so tempting mostly in summers . Ball of ice full of added flavors in it . 

(Tang ! Tang ! Tang ! ) Hearing this noise we used to ran outside our house and shout " gudia k baal vale bhaiya mujhe ek pink aur ek yellow dena " .  Those feeling can not be jot down .

Then came "VIDEO GAMES" - Mario,Dave,Pac-Man,Pinball etc . We used to stick to our PC's for some days till we reached last level . “If Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.” 

I remember i named every fish in my aquarium . I used to talk to them everyday . They were so colorful & beautiful. Whenever i used to put my hand in water , they used to come up & it felt like they kissed my fingers & went down again .

Childhood is the best part where  we were far apart from all the insecurities , problems & other things that caused stress .
