DEDA

In bengali we call our grandma as "deda".

From holding her hand in my childhood days
to holding hers in her old age.

From those days when she used to protect me from ma's  scolding 
to those days when i used to have her always for my secrets sharing.

From those days  when she used to sing lori's to me
to those days when i used to sing with her rabindra sangeet.

From those days when she used to make labongolita and fish for me
to those days when i made rice and chicken for her.

From those days when i used to watch her buying & wearing sarees
to those days when she admired me wearing them.

From those days when she used to woke up at the middle of night to check if i need something
to those days when i used make things settle for her comfortable sleep.

From those days when she was having black hair
to those days when the turned gray
Taste that was in her hands cannot be matched by anyone
Care that she was doing for us cannot be forgotten
Love that she gave to all of us will always stay with us.

Life isn't fair sometimes
things doesn't go in the right way
You don't know where are you heading towards
You know you have chosen the path less travelled

A path that is not taken by everyone
You just wished to do something different
Things fell apart
Just the way they were not before
What do you do then ??

Do you sit alone and cry ?
Do you regret for what has been done ?
Do you complain to god for not giving what you wanted  ?
Do you regret trusting people ?

OR  instead you stand strong and let things happen .
And you believe that things will be alright one day 
Do you continue with the same path ?
What do you choose ??

I wish sometimes that there was a fairy with everyone 
So that we could get answers to our questions when needed.

Truth

"Akele aaye h , aur akele hi jayge .................................. !! "

This phrase struck my mind today .Life has been divided into various stages i.e.

• BIRTH
• CHILDHOOD
• ADULTHOOD
• OLD AGE
• DEATH

Birth is the day we entered in this universe.Isn't it strange to celebrate the day of our first cry ??

Some people are true , some are fake

Some people really cares , some just pretend

Some are good , some are bad

Some people fulfill their promises , others only know to break them

Some people keep their words , others forget. ☺

What is the purpose of our life ?
Are we just following things without much thinking?
Are we are enjoying the chores we do ?
Are we living to the fullest ?
Are we satisfied?

आज फिर उनसे मुलाकात हुई (HINDI POST)

चांदनी रात थी

आसमान की चादर में तारे टिमटिमा रहे थे,

मै चल रही थी उन बादलों को आकार लेते हुए देख

वो सामने से आये

आज फिर उनसे मुलाकात हुई।

बारिश का मौसम था

हरियाली के बीच में

पानी की बूंदों का लुफ्त उठाते हुए

दूर मोर को नाचते हुए देख

रास्ते मे रुकावट आई गई

आज फिर उनसे मुलाकात हुई।

आंखे मिली

बिन बोले बहुत कुछ बात हो गई

वो बीता हुआ पल याद आया

वो पुरानी गलियां याद आ गई

आज फिर उनसे मुलाकात हुई।

वो गलिया  जहां पे बहुत अच्छा वक्त गुजरा

वो गलियां जिन्हे भुलाकर भी न भूलें

यारो ये सपनो की बात ही अलग है

यादो का पिटारा साथ लेते आते है

आज फिर पुरानी  चीज़े याद आई 

आज फिर उनकी याद आई।।

Some Questions Unanswered

This write up is not about Katappa ne Bahubali ko kyn mara ?
or
why the sky is blue ?
But about things that people rarely notice .
So here i begin ....

1) I saw a man smoking near a temple when i was attending the prayer . First i thought to tell him not to do so but the very next thing i saw stopped me from doing so.I saw that he was one of the member of the mandir samiti , i was a bit surprised seeing this there were so many thoughts in my mind but i didn't utter a word.Was that right ?

2) Whole traffic gets stopped when the ministers are passing but  this is not done in the case of an ambulance . Nowhere traffic is not stopped for an ambulance . Why ?

3)FIR is registered if a person is found dead on the road . But no one cares for a dog who remains dead for days. Not FIR but something better could be done than other animals eating him.People say "It's just a dog ", i mean it's sad to hear these kind of statements from people for that dog which guard their house even when  no one feeds him.Be good .Help those who can't  speak.

Just few things that i noticed.No hard feelings , everyone has their own opinion.
By the way , In this scorching summers , keep pots for birds and other animals.Be good . Do good !!

She was told not to wear short clothes
She was told not to rome at night
She was not treated nicely
She was told to be soft and polite
She was told to be dependent
She was expected to be at home
She was not having freedom
She was considered as INFERIOR ..........................!!

These are the things told to every GIRL . I mean people should try to change their attitude . The vital reason of rapes in our country is the mentality of our own people.According to the cases reported a girl dressed in full salwar kamiz or a kid of 3-4 years have also been raped . They weren't wearing short skirts then why were they targeted ??

And if we talk about inferiority so let me tell all of you that if i start from history then Rani Lakshami Bai became an icon of Indian Independence Movement because of her courage,bravery and her sacrifices.

If  i talk about politics then Indian women have a distinction to become UNO Secretary (Vijay laxmi Pandit), Prime Minister (Indira Gandhi), Chief Minister (Sucheta Kriplani, Jayalalitha, Uma Bharati, Mayawati and Vasundhara Raje) and even President (Pratibha Patil).

If i talk about role of women in space then From Harriet Quimby (the first licensed woman pilot,) to Amelia Earheart (the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean,) one way women started to explore space was through aviation. Between these two remarkable women were many others who fought to achieve their hopes and dreams to become aviators. 

So a girl can't be considered INFERIOR than any boy.
Its sad to know that Today also in many of the rural areas there is child marriage,women are not given equal rights,dowry system is there and girl child is killed.

From my point of view EDUCATION is the pillar of the society.If a person is educated he/she can contribute something to the society and also values are imparted so the number of crimes will be reduced.
Dowry system should be stopped as according to the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 : 
If any person, after the commencement of this Act, gives or takes or abets the giving or taking of dowry, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than five years, and with the fine which shall not be less than fifteen thousand rupees or the amount of the value of such dowry.

SO for all the girls , 
BE AWARE OF THE ACT 
HAVE COURAGE , LEARN SELF DEFENCE
DON'T BE AFRAID . 

And for all the boys
RESPECT GIRLS
STOP CRIME
DON'T CONSIDER THEM INFERIOR (*If you have any doubt then watch DANGAL )

Love is.............

After watching a beautiful movie "NOTEBOOK" i wrote this :

LOVE is not just an attraction but a connection
A bond which is very rare
Bond which is very strong enough
In which both understand each others stuff.

Love is not dramatic but charismatic
It is not something when violin starts playing in your mind
Or those cheesy dialogue or shayari's that people try
But yes its much more than this
its the feeling which makes you complete.

Love is not leaving one's side due to some circumstances
But being with each other & finding solution for that instance.
It is not about breaking things
But its all about making things.

Love is when your bond is strong
When you want to grow old together
When your plans are for forever
When your valentine is constant for years.
